MTH1W Tutoring: Grade 9 Mathematics
MTH1W is Ontario’s Grade 9 de-streamed Mathematics course. Its learning areas include number sense and operations, algebra, data, geometry and measurement, and financial literacy.1

MHF4U Tutoring: Grade 12 Advanced Functions
MHF4U covers polynomial, rational, logarithmic and trigonometric functions, as well as combining functions and developing an understanding of rates of change.3
MHF4U tutoring can help students analyse function behaviour, apply transformations, solve equations, work with identities, connect algebraic and graphical representations, and choose an efficient method for unfamiliar problems. Where a student plans to take Calculus and Vectors, lessons can also reinforce the function skills needed for that transition.
MCV4U Tutoring: Grade 12 Calculus and Vectors
MCV4U develops ideas related to derivatives and rates of change, geometric and algebraic vectors, and lines and planes in three-dimensional space. Ontario identifies MHF4U as a prerequisite or co-requisite for MCV4U.3
MCV4U tutoring can support limits and derivative concepts, differentiation techniques, curve analysis, optimisation, vector operations, equations of lines and planes, and three-dimensional geometric reasoning. Explanations can connect procedures to the underlying meaning so that students can select and justify a method in new contexts.
MDM4U Tutoring: Grade 12 Mathematics of Data Management
MDM4U focuses on organising and analysing information, probability and statistics, and includes a culminating investigation.3
